We recently spent a couple weeks hanging out on Lake Michigan. It was a well deserved vacation of sorts for Autumn and we got to relax, hang out with friends and family, and also have a ton of fun. We spent our time on the Leelenua Peninsula,just north of Traverse City, (the pinkie of Michigan) and had a ton of fun. We absolutely love it up there because it offers so much to do. Sand dunes, trail running, a huge, clean, freshwater lake, and great local food, beer, and wines. It is a hidden gem for sure.
