Well, we did it. After a full month of Art shows and being on the road with various mishaps, we blazed home to Pagosa with barely enough time to pull off the Fall/Winter Catalog shoot. The studio session was done at Jeff Laydon's studio,
Pagosa Photography here in downtown Pagosa, and the outdoor session was done @ various locations in Creede, Colorado.
It was my first time shooting for the entire catalog and I was a bit nervous of the studio shoot outcome. Luckily, Jeff has an amazing amount of experience with shooting studio work, and therefore has an excellent ability to get the lighting perfect. And he got it perfect, which allowed me to fire away with the camera.
That night we traveled over Wolf Creek Pass, got a couple shots, and went to Creede. After dinner at the infamous
Kip's Grill we met our good friend Scotty, and invaded his home for the night and following day. That would be our basecamp to do make-up and styling work for the full day of shooting. Scotty was an amazing host and somehow put up with our madness for the full day. We used his vehicles, his house, his ranch, and his town for the shots and we couldn't be happier.
I have posted some B-roll images from the shoot so you can have an idea how the catalog is going to look. Autumn thinks it will be the best yet, and so do I. But I am biased for obvious reasons. Enjoy the images, and plan on the new catalog coming out in August sometime.

We hit the road again tomorrow! It was nice to be home, but short lived, and now we head up to Lyons, Colorado for
Rockygrass. Another great music festival that ATD has been attending for years and has become a very fun place to hang out.
I will be shooting for
The Bluegrass Blog again and reporting on the scene so it should be fun!
Amazing shots!!! This is going to be a great catalog!! Great work!
